ORIGINAL VINTAGE 50's? UNUSUAL OHMER CASH REGISTER GREAT CONDITION

This is an Ohmer Fare Register Co. Cash Register from what I am guessing to be the 1950's. Ohmer was that other Dayton, Ohio register company. They primarily made fare registers for trolleys & buses but were also found in a variety of other businesses as well. You don't often see these registers.
This is a bit of an unusual operating design as there are 3 rows of levers on the front of it that you slide to the amount that you wish to ring up and then you crank the handle on the right side of it around several times to complete the sale.
It is in what I would say is very good condition with the original paint primarily intact and none of the expected wear to the paint, with the exception of the front of the wooden drawer which has quite a bit of flaking to the paint. This could be easily touched up if you so desire. Otherwise the paint is overall good with only minor nicks and a nice shine to it. Gotta love this green color, screams the 50's! do wop & soda fountains.
This register functions well and everything appears to work correctly. The levers slide well, the numbers up top are easily read, it cranks smoothly, and the drawer opens nicely

The drawer is tight and has less than the expected wear to it. It also contains the bill weights.
This is not a big or heavy register.
The dimensions on this are 13 5/8" wide by 13 3/4" front to back. It stands 17 1/4" high.
It only weighs 40 pounds so shipping wont be too bad. I would ship this carefully packaged and insured by UPS ground service.
