Description
This is a lot of 3 keyarms for a very early NCR National Cash Register detail adder. There are 2 straight lower keyarms and one bent upper one. These are super hard to locate as they have no "triangle" at the backside for a key coupler. They have "flat" sides instead of the later rounded versions. These would also be short keyarms. I don't know exactly when they invented the key coupler but the register I needed them for had a 4 digit serial number. These are also before they used a spring on the brass ratchet. They relied on the weight of the backside of the ratchet to insure it returned properly.
They are constructed of cast iron with a brass piece to hold the key check and a larger than usual ratchet arm.
The straight ones measure approximately 11 1/2" long tip to tip and the upper ones are about 11" long. The measurement from the back tip to the center of the pivot point is approximately 6 3/4" for both kinds and it is approximately 4 5/8" from the center of the pivot point to the front edge on the straight ones.
What you see is what you get. I am selling them as a lot of 3.
These are being sold as is with no warranty or returns being offered.
I gladly combine shipping.
